My water heater is leaking do I need a new one?

Upon arrival we will inspect the water heater and determine if it needs replacement. Most of the time, your water heater does not need replacement, and leak repair will be performed. However, in the few cases where there is massive rust build up or other critical failure, then we will help guide you through the process of purchasing and installing a new water heater.

What is the difference between reverse osmosis and a water filter?

The simple answer is they do the same thing. RO systems remove more sediments from the water than a water filter does. The draw back to a RO system is they only recover 5 to 15 percent of the water entering the system. The remainder is discharged as waste water; meaning a higher water bill, yet yielding higher water purity(less chemicals and sediment).

What do I do in case of an emergency?

    Water Heater Emergency:
1.Turn Off Water Heaters GAS OR ELECTRICITY>
Gas Water Heaters: Turn thermostat dial to the off position. If you smell gas call SDGE immediately!
Electric Water Heaters: Flip the water heater circuit breaker to the off position.
    2. Shut Off the water supply: Shut off valve will be located at the top of the water heater.
    3. If needed you can drain the HOT water from the water heater. Do this by attaching a hose to the drain spicket/faucet at the bottom of the water heater. Drain the HOT water to a safe location. Take care not to damage any surroundings or burn your self.
